About Us:

PodWest Podiatry Services is a small practice that delivers care to patients with limited access. We provide in-home podiatry services in Perth Metro as-well as Outreach services to Newman and Wongan Hills. We feel that everyone deserves high-quality care and are doing our best to fill the gaps!

About the Job:

Part-time 6 months fixed-term role (Maternity leave cover)

2-3 days/week- Flexible hours/days can be discussed.

Minimum 20 hours/week (range 20-30)

To start early April

The role is primarily Perth-based + travel for 3 days/month to Newman in the Pilbara.

**If you are only able to do the Perth or Newman part of the role please apply (option to split into 2 separate jobs).

The Perth practice is a mobile service. We will provide you with everything you will need to provide good quality care. This side of the job is a good chance to use your ‘soft skills’. You will need to be caring, helpful and able to think outside the box to help people with limited access/mobility to get the care they need. We allow ample time for appointments so you will not feel rushed.

In Newman you will be in a clinic setting within the Newman Allied Health Clinic. The clinic is neat and modern, the town and its people are very welcoming and the sun will be shining all through the winter! The clinic space is shared with a physiotherapist, chiropractor, optometrist and an occupational therapist (who are all very friendly). You will need to practice a wide scope of podiatry in Newman, we see a lot of MSK cases, ingrown nails, high-risk care and Indigenous health.

*Flights, accommodation and meals are provided, your time commuting will be paid at the normal hourly rate.

What you will need:

AHPRA Registration as a practicing Podiatrist

Professional Indemnity + Public Liability Insurance

Experience preferred, but open to new grads.

Drivers licence and access to a reliable car

Up to date flu and covid-19 vaccination

Police clearance
