Our Ideal Psychologist:
Wise Mind Psychology is seeking a kind, dedicated, and experienced psychologist (clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, or clinical psychology registrar) to join our growing team as a contractor.
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to tailor treatment plans according to each client's specific needs.
- Demonstrated ability to build therapeutic rapport with various clients and work from a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective.
- Experience in the assessment, formulation, and treatment of a range of psychological disorders/difficulties using evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and professional report-writing skills.
- Ongoing commitment to personal and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Appropriate registration with the Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRA
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Registered Medicare provider (or eligible to apply)
- Current National Police Check (National Police Certificate)
