We are seeking an Experienced Occupational Therapist, to join our team at Cadre Group Disability Services. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering functional capacity assessments and face-to-face therapy with NDIS participants and will possess a strong commitment to providing services to people with disabilities.

Cadre Group are willing to negotiate flexible working conditions to suit your lifestyle including, fulltime salary, permanent part-time, casual, or ABN subcontractor.

We are offering a starting fulltime equivalent salary between $85k – $100k, plus additional performance bonuses, and are happy to link this to an award rate if desired (AHP, SCHADS etc).

Responsibilities:

Conduct functional capacity assessments for NDIS participants using evidence-based strategies and tools.
Develop and implement individualised therapy to assist participants in progressing towards their NDIS and personal goals.
Provide face-to-face therapy to NDIS participants in their homes and/or in the community.
Collaborate with key stakeholders including families, allied health professionals, support workers and other members of a participant’s multidisciplinary team.
Participate in ongoing in-service training and professional development, including contribution to Cadre’s commitment to service and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
At least 2 years’ experience in delivering functional capacity assessments and therapy services to people with disabilities, including NDIS participants.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other members of the team and lead a therapy assistant where applicable.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
