This is a client-facing role where you will be changing the lives of our deaf clients through your love for people and your skills as an OT/RC. An Auslan interpreter would work alongside you, so Auslan skills are not a requirement.

We have a wide range of clients with varying complexities, so your client base can be matched to your skills, experience and preference.

Skills and Experience

To thrive in this role, you will be motivated to help clients with a disability reach their full potential and be professional, organised, and friendly. In addition, you enjoy meeting new people and love finding creative and innovative ways to overcome obstacles.

You will need:

1. A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or associated degree

2. Current AHPRA Registration or are able to apply for it.

3. Minimum two years of work experience.

4. Be comfortable working either via Telehealth VRI (Video Remote Interpreting) or

face-to-face with clients.

5. Have a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one.
