The Practice

Operating since 2000, InSync is a proven leader in the field of biomechanical retraining and functional rehabilitation, using Pilates principles and physiotherapy evidence-based practice. Our clinic prides itself on having a client-centred focus and offers a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, including Physiotherapy (including sports and dance physiotherapy), Pilates/Exercise Rehab, Strength and Conditioning and Remedial Massage.

The Role

The position provides a Physiotherapist/Pilates Instructor with the opportunity to perform detailed assessments of a diverse range of conditions, including injuries arising from sporting activities, occupational pursuits and general activities of daily living.

The blend of responsibilities will be adapted based on the level of experience and will include a combination of:

Varied musculoskeletal caseload (30 min consultants)
Creating care and treatment plans based on individual needs
Planning exercise regimes to assist recovery
Pilates/Exercise Rehab (biomechanical screening) assessments
Pilates/Exercise Rehab classes (60 min. sessions with max. 3 clients per class)
Pre-pointe and comprehensive dance assessments and other dance-specific consultations (only if experienced or interested in Dance Physiotherapy)
Managing a caseload of loyal and established clients, scope to build client caseload

About you

The successful candidate is a true professional, driven and passionate about providing clinical excellence and has:

A physiotherapy degree and min. 1-2 years of physiotherapy experience (Graduates are welcome to apply)
AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
Previous private practice and musculoskeletal rehab experience is an advantage
Experience with a dance caseload and/or personal dance experience is an advantage but not essential
Previous Pilates experience is an advantage (training, support, and mentorship will be provided to develop Pilates instruction as needed)
Exceptional eye for detail
Willingness to contribute to the supportive and cohesive workplace culture and demonstration of InSync’s values
The interest to enhance and expand on their Pilates/Exercise rehab skills and experience in a busy and supportive practice

Hours and availability across the week can be discussed as there is flexibility to accommodate those wanting to work 24-38 hours per week.
