At OPTIMIND, we are committed to enhancing the mental and physical health of the whole community. We do things a little differently at OPTIMIND through our multidisciplinary approach to mental health so we’re looking for a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team. We are a growing team, with 12 Psychiatrists, 4 Clinical Psychologists, 3 Registered Psychologists, 2 Provisional Psychologists, 1 Neuropsychologist, 1 Dietitian and 1 Mental Health Social Worker, and we utilise each clinician’s areas of expertise to deliver an exceptional service. We have clinics in Mornington, Somerville and Highett, with a new clinic in Box Hill opening late 2023.There is scope to consult from all clinics, with the opportunity to also consult from the comfort of your own home via Telehealth.

An opportunity exists for a passionate and committed Psychologist to join our team. This position is available under a contractor arrangement. Ideally we would love the successful applicant to commence with two to three sessions per week, with the desire to increase their session times as their business grows with us. If you have a current client base and wish to commence with more session times we can readily accommodate this within our practice.

Essential Criteria

Full registration with AHPRA
Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one)
Professional indemnity insurance

Desirable Criteria – any or all of these areas would be looked upon favourably

Interest in and experience with Eating Disorders
Interest in and experience with conducting ASD assessments in both children and adults.
Qualified in EMDR or interested in training in this area
Post graduate degree in Clinical Psychology
