About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in providing high quality health care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) Personal. You will be responsible for providing a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services for a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. Based at the Robertson Health Centre, you willl work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care with an emphasis on goal focused strategies and outcomes. Flexible start dates are available alongside an attractive relocation allowance. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the defence environment as a civillian!

To be successful in this role, you will have:

The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
Two years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development activities (CPD) in accordance with AHPRA.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

About the Robertson Health Centre

Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 defence staff, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The Health Centre provides primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, and operates a 22-bed 24/7 ward. The facility holds a large in-house gym in the physiotherapy department. Standard operating hours are 0730-1530, Monday-Friday.

Watching patients improve under your care keeps you going and drives you to continue your career. Your excellent communication skills are appreciated both by your patients and your colleagues to whom you regularly provide advice and recommendations. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing health services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
