St John of God Accord is a division of St John of God Health Care dedicated to providing support to people with intellectual disabilities. The Position

St John of God Accord’s growing team of vibrant and dedicated Allied Health professionals is looking for you. To work with us as a Speech Pathologist (Grade 1 or Grade 2), you are enthusiastic, curious, values driven and committed to improving the lives of people with a disability.

By joining us as a Speech Pathologist (Grade 1) you will assist clients achieve individual goals and improve their quality of life. You will build on your clinical knowledge and develop your skills in assessment, therapeutic interventions, team collaboration, report writing and stakeholder consultation.

Our Speech Pathologist (Grade 2) has proven ability to act as a consult and educator at a senior level of clinical practice. You will also undertake professional supervision and/or mentor junior staff and to promote professional competence and growth in staff.

This position is based in our Greensborough and Nunawading offices and offered on a permanent full time or part time basis with flexible work options available.

The successful candidate will have:

A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current full membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation within Speech Pathology practice.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and ability to coordinate an assigned caseload.
Current Drivers License.
Accord - require evidence of First Aid and CPR certification.
