As the Synergy Health Centre continues to grow and diversify we are excited to announce that we are looking for a new team member to join our group of Allied Health providers. The future holds no boundaries for our company as we work to transition into a multidisciplinary medical center in the near future. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated Exercise Physiologist who has a keen interest for a very diverse professional practice load and who is also drawn to developing their career and skills surrounded by other health practitioners. Currently we service numerous contracts and working relationships within the region and as such our regular case load includes:

Chronic disease referrals from general practice.
Private patients for weight loss and rehab.
Injury management.
Defence and DVA clients.
Work cover.
Rural and outreach services.
Pre employment screening.

This role offers tremendous variety that will keep you engaged, motivated and constantly learning! We will also contribute $700 per year towards professional development. Whilst the regular week will include days in our practice the position will also offer the chance to get out of the practice and travel down the road to Ayr (1 hour away) to provide outreach services to a partnering rehabilitation facility. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to travel to parts of Western Queensland as part of our rural contracts on a monthly or bi monthly basis.

Our practice offers a fun and vibrant workplace shared also by Dietitians, Diabetes Educators and Physiotherapists. This role would ideally suit new and experienced Exercise Physiologists who have have a genuine personality and a desire to help people. We are also looking for people with a can do attitude and who are highly organised.

We would also like to hear from any dual trained practitioners with Physiotherapy, Dietitian, Podiatry, Diabetes Education or similar as an adjunct to their Exercise Physiology qualification. These practitioners graduate or experienced are also strongly encouraged to apply as this would be well suited to the future strategic plan of the practice. In this case the remuneration and job role would be altered to utilize both skill sets.
