Title: Podiatrist for Aged Care Facilities

Location: Victoria and Queensland

Salary: $100,000+ per year (negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced podiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing podiatry services to aged care facilities in Victoria and Queensland. The role involves regular travel between facilities, so a valid driver’s licence is essential.

We welcome new graduate podiatrists and we would guide you through until you are confident with work.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting comprehensive foot assessments and developing treatment plans for residents in aged care facilities

- Providing regular podiatry services to residents, including nail care, wound management, and biomechanical assessments

- Maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with facility staff and other healthcare professionals

- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master of Podiatry

- Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia

- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in aged care podiatry

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
